The narrative begins with Haru, who has recently joined the company and is affectionately referred to as "Senpai" by Shion, who entered the workforce two months earlier. Their contrasting personalities provide a compelling backdrop: Shion exudes cheerfulness and competence, while Haru struggles with self-doubt and a sense of inadequacy that leads him to withdraw from Shion.

This dynamic shifts when a fateful incident draws them to Saihate Station. Here, they commit to collaborating and finding their way home together. Initially, their interactions are marked by awkwardness due to their previous estrangement; however, as they face challenges side by side, Haru begins to reconnect with memories of their friendship.
